ABSTRACT
The progress of nanotechnology has significantly transformed biomedical fields such as disease diagnosis, targeted drug delivery, and therapeutic development. Nevertheless, conventional nanoparticle synthesis techniques commonly depend on hazardous chemicals, harsh reaction conditions, and high energy consumption, creating concerns related to environmental safety and biological compatibility. To overcome these limitations, green synthesis methods using sustainable biological resources, including plant extracts, microorganisms, fungi, and enzymes, have gained attention as safer and eco-friendly alternatives. This paper examines the chemical processes involved in green nanoparticle synthesis, the different types of nanostructures obtained through biological routes, and their biomedical significance. Special attention is given to their applications in antimicrobial treatment, cancer therapy, and biosensing technologies. The study highlights the environmental and chemical importance of green synthesis and contrasts it with traditional physical and chemical methods. Furthermore, it incorporates spectral analysis, morphological characterization, and biomedical performance data to demonstrate the practical potential of environmentally compatible nanomaterials.
