Analysis and Characterization of Biosurfactant Producing Microbes from Crude Oil Contaminated Soil
Author: NishanSen Gupta

Synthetic organophosphate compound are used as agriculture and pesticides and could be chemical agent. The degradation of organophosphate in soil has gained lot of importance due to increase the quantity of its use all over world. The biodegradation of organophosphate was carried out by bacteria, fungi and algae effectively. The biodegradation of organophosphates in flask quoted condition were study by an isolated pseudomonas from the soil under laboratory condition. The biodegradation procedures wereexecuted by the enrichment technique. The biodegradation rate by pseudomonas enhance the rate of biodegradation to 20%- 30% addition of the biosurfactant produce from the pseudomonas enhance the rate of biodegradation to 30% - 45%. The produced biosurfactant were found to be specific to organophosphate.

Short communication Microbial Degradation of Malachite green Dye
Author: Jatinder Kumar

The microbial decolorization of dyes has been of considerable interest in biological treatment of the wastewater containing dyes. The bacterial isolate, Bacillussp.was isolated from the textile effluent sample. Different parameters such as various carbon sources, nitrogen sources, temperature andpH were optimized for decolorization of malachite green by using this bacterial isolate.Bacillussp. showedmaximum dye decolorizationof about86% at 30°C and pH 7 after 8 days of incubation.Maximum decolourization of malachite green (75.80%) was observed when urea was used as nitrogen source. High decolorization extent showed the potential of the bacterial strain to be used in the decolourization of malachite green dye.

Heavy metal (Pb(NO3)2)and Salt stress (NaCl) Alter the shoot length and activity of Amylase enzyme in Vigna radiate
Author: Harman Kaur, Harsharan singh

The study was undertaken to identify the responses of amylase enzyme activities and the morphological changes in Vigna radiate cultivars under Heavy metal (Pb(NO3)2)and Salt stress (NaCl) conditions. Plants were grown under three different concentration regimes of Pb(NO3)2 and NaCl respectively. The Choosen concentrations of Pb(NO3)2 were 50mM, 100mM and 150 mM and for NaCl were 0.5 M, 1M and 1.5 M. These stress treatments preferentially decreased the shoot length in a concentration dependent manner. The Amylase activities was forund to be decreased after the application of Pb(NO3)2 and NaCl. The pattern of alternation of amylase activity was common for both Pb(NO3)2 and NaCl treatment suggesting that similar biochemical pathways might be triggered by Pb(NO3)2 and NaCl.

The Teachings of Gita: A Guide to Modern world of Technology
Author: Reena Sharma

Modern Age is an age of stress, anxiety and discontentment. There is no doubt that the modern man is far ahead of previous generations in material achievements and worldly possessions but on what a terrible price? Hasn‟t the modern man become restless and uneasy in quest of peace happiness, success and contentment. Today if mankind seems to be nearing catastrophe, it is because man‟s mind has gone astray. The mad pursuit of material goals that have little to do with peace of mind and contentment,is unfortunately a sign of happiness and success for the people of today. In the mindless pursuit of material gains, people are overcome by all kinds of emotions ranging from love to jealousy fear, hatred, selfishness, stress and discontentment.

Ethnoveterinary medicinal plants used by ethnic and rural people of indo- nepal sub Himalayan International border region of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR) of UP state, India.
Author: Gopal Dixit, Shilpa Vakshasya

Tribal people are inhabiting indifferent locations of Pilibhit Tiger
reserve region of Rohilkhand division of Uttar Pradesh state of India.
Study area comprisesof second largest forest cover among all the
districts of Uttar Pradesh. This manuscript provides information on
21 medicinal plants belonging to 17 Angiosperm families which are
used by different tribal groups and indigenous people for curing
various animal diseases. Few of the important medicinal plants are
Achyranthus, Datura, Polygonum, Litsea, Bombax, Azadirachtaetc. The
use of locally growing, wild medicinal plants for curing different
animal ailments was observed to be widespread and prevalent in this
area.
